Founded 57 years ago, our school is a vocational institution dedicated to developing professional designers and creators. To ensure international students can study with confidence, we invite leading professionals active at the forefront of Japan’s industries and offer a curriculum designed to help students acquire skills through practical classes, from fundamental techniques to today’s most advanced technologies in Japan. We warmly invite you to join our open campus events, where we provide individual guidance and consultations.
Fukuoka, a Thriving Creative City
Our school has the longest history among vocational institutions in the creative field in the Kyushu and Okinawa region. Fukuoka City, where our school is located, is a vibrant hub for creative industries. With the vision of becoming a “Global Startup City,” the city is undertaking various initiatives to establish itself as a leading city in Asia. Fukuoka is home to many major game development companies and video production studios, attracting creative talent and gaining global attention.
In addition, Fukuoka is popular among students for its affordability and comfortable living environment, with lower rent and living costs compared to most major cities in Japan. The city has more than 30 vocational schools, universities, and junior colleges where students can study information technology and design, and it is also said to rank second among Japan’s government designated cities in the number of students per 1,000 residents.
Furthermore, Fukuoka offers excellent international accessibility, with the city center located about 10 minutes from the airport by subway. Beyond urban convenience, the city’s proximity to both the sea and mountains provides a rich environment for leisure activities, making it an especially attractive and highly livable city.

Comic Illustration Course
From Sichuan International Studies University, China
I love Japanese anime and games,
and I wanted to experience the culture while studying, so I decided to study abroad in Japan.
I had been studying Japanese because I wanted to work in illustration and game-related fields in Japan, but I believed that experiencing the culture firsthand would help me grow faster, which led me to study here. Whenever I don’t understand something in class, the teachers kindly explain it again and also give me helpful advice. Fukuoka has so much delicious food, convenient transportation, and affordable rent, so I find it a very comfortable place to live.
